Yes! The transportation strike is over! Only the dockers are still on strike and, thank God, I am not (yet) so fat that airlines would refuse to sell me a seat and I would have to by a ticket to a cargo ship! So, it seems, tomorrow another Alice will be in Wonderland (?)!

What wrong have I done in my previous life?! Every time I try to get to a concert somewhere in Scandinavia, some sort of strike or natural disaster compromise it! This time I would like to get to a concert of Peter Asplund and Blue House Jazz Orchestra in Stockholm on Friday (you see: something that remotely relates to BKO and soothes my uneasiness when BKO "Turné" section is sadly empty). Now they are intimidating us (among other - less important to me right now - things like groceries are running out of vegetables) that due to the strike of Finnish Transportation Union the very few buses to the airport are far too full and aeroplanes will not get fuel... Let's hope I'll get at least a cap on Friday Morning and Blue 1 planes are refuelled abroad!

PS. When shall we see something in "Turné" section too? Please, have a concert so close that I can get there with a bike: I am sick of these strikes!

PPS. Don't anyone get upset, I still have a sense of perspective: these kinds of "I can't get to a concert" -problems are simply nothing compared to the problems so many people are struggling in so many places on earth right now. Let's try to help them as much as we can, right?

Hej världens bästa band!

Jag vill ha låter Det smartaste jag gjort på mitt bröllop då det är min blivande man Björns absoluta favoritlåt bland alla era låtar.
Men det finns inga noter någonstans, det finns noter till nästan alla låtar utom den och det är ju den vi vill ha!
Går det att få dem noterna direkt från er? Vi ska spela piano och sedan ta ut stämmor och spela med kontrabas och trummor, det skulle bli så bra!

Hej grabbar, som tysk hör man tyvärr inte så mycket av det söm händer musikaliskt i Sverige. Fick låna " söndag i sängen " av en kompis och har blivit övertygat. Nu har jag nästan alla skivor och vill säga tack och beröm från Berlin. Hoppas att min svenska är okay. Michael

On Sunday it is once again Valentines Day. Off course it has turned commercial, annoyingly pink and a a bit naive, but despite that I think it is great to have a special day to remember precious friends and people who make our lives a better place to be.

This Valentine Day, I think, it would be appropriate to remember not only people near us but also those who don't have it well right now: for example people of Haiti. So let's listen to touching BKO version of Here comes the Flood (Nyhersmorgon 23rd of January) and do our best to help.

Forever in my heart, in my soul. Jag har en undran. Har ni någon politisk inställning som är gemensam för bandet? Skulle ni kunna tänka er att sjunga en låt för miljöpartiet? Inför den kommande valrörelsen vore det ju kul med lite musik! Jag har skrivit en "klimatlåt" som det svänger om och som jag tror ni skulle göra himla bra.

Hur hittar man framtida spelningar?
Eller är det rent utav så att ni inte har nånting inbokat ännu?
Jag var och såg på konserthuset i malmö sist och det var en fantastisk upplevelse!
Så nu undrar jag ju såklart när ni spelar i Malmö/ Köpenhamn nästa gång?
Snart hoppas vi är nere i skåne.

Tycker ni är ganska kassa men har inte förlorat hoppet än... vill ge er ett tips. Gå in på Spotify och kolla på Cheb Hasni. En av världens största artister som sköts till döds av islamister 26 år gammal. Han skapade också ett eget sound som hade slagit internationellt om han hade sjungit på engelska. Det är så ni ska låta, som Hasni. Gör en coverplatta på svenska! Du behöver lära dig sjunga!

LOL!!!!!! (I hate this phrase, but now it is really in order!)

My lesson today: NEVER read a web site in a haste on late Friday afternoon after a weeks work! (On the other hand there is a positive side in this monumental blunder too: if there isn't any total idiot to whom I can laugh, I can always laugh to myself!)

Would it be a good time for someone to update Peters web site soon?
